INTERNSHIP // January 2020 - March 2020

Second State is searching for an intern for 3-4 days a week who would like to do a 3-month internship (or more) in our office in Berlin.

At Second State you will learn how a label and an artist management operates, get a well-rounded exposure and deep insight to many facets of the industry (such as management, artist and repertoire (A&R), social media management, public relations and research) and have an active role in growing the label and its artists' profiles, all of which will prepare you for a career in the music industry.

Internship requirements:

​

• Strong interest in the music industry and music in general, especially Techno

• Self-motivation, organisation skills and ability to work autonomously and in a team

• Creativity and being proactive

• Collaboration in our daily business

• Being able to work on new structures and shape your work environment

• Good knowledge about social media platforms

• Basic knowledge about common office applications

• Very good English skills (written and verbal), good German skills are a plus

• Must be a student currently enrolled at an accredited college or university who has to do a compulsory internship of at least 3 months
