After his massive tune ‘Blind Spot’ in 2016 on our SUM VA, it was only a matter of time before Glasgow’s young, rising star Frazier reappeared on Second State, and this time he’s here with three mental warehouse weapons on his debut EP 'Modafinil'. Heaving low end, massive kick drums, and hypnotic vocal commands appear on all three cuts yet each embrace a different intention.

The title track is an almost straight up old school rave homage with searing acid lines, whereas ‘Fabrication’ takes a subtle step into deeper spaces with eery pads and ‘Observation’ into headier territory where sonic blasts meet strobe lights. As if that wasn’t enough, DEAS returns after his hot new ‘Velocity’ EP and reworks ‘Modafinil’ into a psychedelic, late-night undertaking that is sure to cause a frenzy every single time.
